A College Visit | Headshots

A friend of mine recently did a blog series where she interviewed the member of her family...including the pets!  It got me thinking that I blog so much on here about myself and my baby and even my Puggles - but rarely do I mention my totally awesome husband, Matt.  Well, today is about Matt.

A College Visit | Headshots

Matt is a professor at Dean College in their Theatre department.  For those of you who aren't familiar with Dean College, you can check it out here.  While checking out the school, you may notice that it is located in my back yard...yes, in Franklin.  I can practically see the sign from my dinning room.  Matt has the joy of being able to walk to work every day.  He doesn't, and I don't blame him...it's cold out there!...but he could. ;)  Anyways, last Fall he taught an auditioning class.  It's a senior class that kick starts them right in to the real world.  And what does an actor need in the real world?  A headshot!  This is where I come in.  Matt, very kindly asked if I could be a guest speaker for his class and also take headshots of a few of his students to help them understand the process.  I was completely honored to be asked.  While headshots are not something I do on a regular basis, they are something I enjoy doing because it is completely different from weddings.  Completely!

Here are a few shots from that day.  A huge thank you to Chelsea, Nick, Lexxie and Katie.  I had such a great time and I wish all of them so much success!

And just to round off this post...a HUGE congratulations to my hubby for getting in to grad school today ;)

Much Love,
Aubrey

Happy Holidays!

The holiday season is well under way and I have been a busy little bee!  Baking cookies, prepping for feasts of plenty and wrapping presents quietly in the darkness of night.  We already took Max to see Santa and I can't wait to see him "open" all his gifts.  There is nothing more special than a child's first Christmas.  And so with that, I am signing off for a few weeks to enjoy the holidays with my family.  But before I do that, here is a little holiday cheer all for you!

Happy Holidays from my family to yours!

Much Love,
Aubrey

I'm back!!!  I'm still enjoying tons of time with my now GIANT son, Maxwell (he weighed in at 13 pounds today!), but every now and then I am able to get out and photograph other people...who also have adorable children!

The Ouellette Family!!

Last week I got to photograph the Ouellette family at Sweets Knoll State Park in Dighton.  At first glance, this park looks like it might just be someone's backyard.  When I pulled up I got a little nervous...haha!  So I started to explore and just beyond the tree line was this gorgeous little park situated next to a river.  It couldn't have been more perfect for this family shoot.  Not to mention the fantastic weather we had and the fact that there was still tons of color on the trees.

Thanks so much for a wonderful afternoon Ouellette family!  You have beautiful children and it was a honor to photograph them ;)

Much Love,
Aubrey
